Deep, Deeper, Deepest

Put away the rulers and break out the yard sticks. Last week brought one of the deepest storm cycles in recent memory. It seems like every storm was measured in feet instead of inches. Snow rates were approaching 4 inches per hour at times. The season total eclipsed 300. If it keeps up, we'll be shredding into summer once again. Right now, I'm a little out of commission with an elbow injury. Day to day tasks have been challenging. It's funny how easy it is to take the dumb little things we do on autopilot each day for granted. Hopefully I'm not out for too much longer. It's been snowing the past few days and I haven't been up. I'm trying to give my body a proper chance to heal and rest. After all, it's only January and we still have a lot of season ahead of us. It looks like we have a few small storms lined up for early next week. Hopefully they end up overproducing. After that it looks like we'll have a break in the weather into February. Here's hoping the storm door isn't shut for too long. After all the bad snow years we had last decade it would be nice to string together a few really good ones!
