Glory Days
Once again, this magical season has found a way to get even better. I don't really know what to say at this point. It seems like every week there has been at least one "best day of my life." Sunday was almost lost when I woke up feeling under the weather and had to bail on a dawn patrol mission. However, Sunday was also the start of Daylight Saving Time, so it wasn't getting dark till 7:30. After sleeping most of the day, I rallied for a dusk patrol mission up Little Cottonwood with Mike. We scored bottomless blower pow in beautiful evening light. Add it to the list of "best runs of the season." As the week progressed, the snow kept stacking up. Thursday was another "best day ever." This season is feeling more and more like the "best season ever." High pressure is taking control for the first time since January. Spring riding will be prime for a few days. Then it looks like snow will return late next week. Get out there and enjoy it!
