Golden Hour
Meteorological Summer has arrived. Prime touring conditions still exist, but the snow is melting fast. This past week was all about golden hour tours at Alta. There is still snow to the base of Collins lift, so skinning is easy. We have had two beautiful sunsets from the top of Mt. Baldy.
The long summer days are nice for evening tours. In resort news, Snowbird is still open for weekends until June 18th. The Anderson's pond skim was going off last weekend, and should be fun this weekend too! I do not know how much more riding I will be able to do this season. I leave for Australia and the Solomon Islands in a week. I'm planning on getting a few more tours in before I leave for the rest of June. I hear the Uintas still have a fat snowpack... We'll see what happens. I'll leave you with some photos from our tours this week. Enjoy!
