Pic of the Day: April 24

Today is New Year's Eve for me. Not really much to celebrate these days given the circumstances. But tomorrow is my birthday. So I guess here's to surviving another trip around the sun. It was a rough one. There were still some nice moments though, so I'll try to hold onto those as the sun sets on year 27.

Time For Another Lap...

This shot was from the only dusk patrol mission I've had this year. Usually we get a few of these in the spring. This one was in mid February. Me, Jenny, and Mike skinned up in the late afternoon to ride Microwave. This was the view as we made the transition at the top. We rode down under beautiful light in blower pow.

I've taken quite a few sunset shots from the top of Little Cottonwood over the years. For me, it's simply one of those views that never gets old. Maybe if the weather is nice this evening I'll go up and catch one more sunset before I turn 28 tomorrow...
