Pic of the Day: May 3
Man, there was a lot of traffic yesterday. The warm, sunny weather definitely had the weekend warriors out in full force. Hopefully everyone is using discretion with their recreational activities. The 'Rona is still very much a thing. If you aren't feeling well, just stay the fuck home. It sucks, but so does going back on lockdown. And if you do go out in public, just wear a fucking mask. Yeah, that sucks too. But not spreading our germs around is more important than showing off all the rad quarantine 'staches we're growing.
Ride Till It's Dirt
Sure, there isn't any dirt in this photo. But it's getting late. And any big objective is gonna require some sloshing through the mud now. Yesterday, me and Tony went and bagged my favorite peak in Utah.
We only had a mile of dryish approach too. Which was awesome, considering I was reserved to a long dry sufferfest of an approach. I'm not gonna say where this photo was taken because I only take my close friends to this zone. If you know, then you know. We still got close to 4,000 vertical ft of turns. Which is awesome.
Here we have Tony mid run down our line. Officially on month 55 of The Streak. I haven't rode this line in 6 or 7 years, so it was nice to get back on it. The snow wasn't quite corn. But it was soft and fast. I can't wait to be able to not stay 6 feet apart from my friends and hi-five and hug again. Big days in the hills just aren't the same without it...
