Pic(s) of the Day: May 15

Another beautiful day in Salt Lake. Still no rain, though. It's been almost a full month since the last measurable rainfall now. Certainly doesn't bode well for fire season...

The 2020 season is rapidly winding down. Soon I'll do my full recap. Hopefully things are better in 2021. I'm curious to see how resorts operate in the Southern Hemisphere this summer. I feel like it could be a good indicator for what we can expect up here once the snow starts to fall again. Time will tell.

The Solomons

Speaking of the Southern Hemisphere, today we're heading to the Solomon Islands for the pics of the day. Life was pretty good in 2017. Me and my dad spent a week Scuba diving in this tropical island chain. Aside from a rat chewing up most of my clothes one night, the trip was a lot of fun.

The schedule each day was: wake up, breakfast, go dive, get back to Fatboy's and have a couple SolBrews, find a hammock to work on photos in/take a nap, go back to the bar and have a few more SolBrews. Watch the sunset (while enjoying a SolBrew), have dinner, play some pool (again with a SolBrew in hand)... It was pretty much perfect. I hope we'll get to go back someday.

Skull Island was pretty cool too... In a creepy, out there, cannibal, scooby-doo adventure sort of way...
