Week in Review: The Eight Day Week
One of the quirks about traveling back from the Far East is having the same day twice in a row.
Our flight departed Tokyo at 6:50 PM on January 30th.
It landed at LAX on January 30th at 11:50 AM.
This gives you the opportunity to view two sunsets on the same day.
Sunset number one on January 30th. Taken from the train on the way to Narita International Airport.
Sunset number two on January 30th. Taken from outside Terminal 1 of LAX.
It took a sleepless Tuesday night and full day of work Wednesday for me to kick the jet lag.
I did two solo tours up Grizzly Gulch this week just to stretch the legs and get used to the higher altitude again. It's crazy how three weeks near sea level can wreak havoc on you upon returning to Utah.
It looks like we will be getting a reset this week. I'm looking forward to getting back out in the Wasatch backcountry. Our snowpack is the deepest it's been in six years. That bodes well for bagging some classic lines during the remainder of the season.
